Meet Samantha Fronio

Samantha Fronio is ecstatic to be a part of the ECDA family! She is from Annandale NJ and has been dancing for 18 years, and competing for 14 years as well. She attends Fairfield University where she is studying Marketing with a minor in graphic design.

She is normally known for her love and skill set within hip hop, yet she is trained in all styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and tap.

During her first year at Fairfield University she was a part of the D1 dance team and performed at community events, basketball games, as well as the MAAC tournament in Atlantic City NJ. She attended NDA camps and competed at NCAA. Later taking a step back from the D1 team to tap back into technique and performing for herself. Her second year at Fairfield she joined FDF, Fairfield Dance Fusion, which is a competitive club team at the university. During her fourth year she had the opportunity to choreograph their hip hop dance for the 25-26 season. This allowed her to have an even more creative outlet, work with all the girls in a large group and one on one. She competed at NDA and UDA regional competitions along the East Coast. During her time with FDF they received many awards at both NDA and UDA. She was also apart of FUDE, Fairfield University Dance Ensemble, where she danced along side an amazing group of women and men focusing on Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. As a part of this club she also had the opportunity to teach the other members of the club.

Fairfield allowed her to continue her dance career in an amazing environment and gave her the opportunity to grow as a dancer. From all her experience and work throughout college she has the foundational knowledge, experience, and confidence to teach in a proactive and professional way. She is beyond grateful to be apart of the ECDA family and to teach alongside other amazing individuals and pass on my knowledge to our Gems! 💎
