Meet Leah
Leah Zripko became enamored with dance at a young age. She trained in a variety of dance styles, yet she fell in love with Ballet and Contemporary. After years of training competitively in Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Tap; Leah began pre professional ballet training at Princeton Ballet School (PBS) in their Conservatory Program. During her time at PBS, Leah performed in the Nutcracker with the American Repertory Ballet. She performed the roles of Clara, Flowers, Snow, Spanish, and Chinese Tea. She also gained experience in ballet partnering through learning repertoire such as Bluebird and Cinderella. Throughout her training, Leah committed to multiple esteemed dance intensives. She trained at Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet School, Princeton Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, and Steps on Broadway. She also took classes with the Steps on Broadway conservatory program where she learned from teachers such as Al Blackstone, Desmond Richardson, Kurt Froman, Madi Hicks, and more. Additionally, Leah attended and received scholarships at numerous dance conventions; including Nuvo, JUMP, 24/7, and NYCDA.
Leah is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Contemporary Dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (BOCO). As an emerging dance artist, she is passionate about pursuing performance during and after college, while also passing her expansive knowledge and experience on to young dancers. Leah honors creating a safe space where collaboration is used for learning, and young dancers can learn how to find their artistic voice through building personal agency. Leah has been fortunate to train with passionate dance educators, and is grateful for the experiences that have shaped her into the artist she is today.
